The once renowned “Golden Boy & Emerald Girl”, Rowena Cortes Martin and Louie Castro, teamed up again to present “Rowena & Louie Reunited Charity Concert” after 28 years of silence. Will In Action (WIA) was honoured and grateful to be the organiser and beneficiary organisation of the concert. The concert was held with full house at Queen Elizabeth Stadium on 29 & 30 May 2013. It was such a splendid performance of Rowena and Louie that the Stadium was filled with joy and unanimous bursts of applause throughout the nights. Amongst the audience there were many entertainment celebrities including Law Lan, Wu Fung, Lau Dan, Lok Yick-Ling, Maria Cordero, Mr & Mrs Chan Pak-Cheung (Nat), Chan Fat-Yung, Mr & Mrs Chan Shek-Sau, Mr & Mrs Liu Kai-Chi etc. 3,500 guests attending the concert on 30 May were fortunate enough to witness Rowena’s wedding ceremony held on stage. It was such a sweet and unforgettable moment! Funds raised from the concert, after deducting all expenses, go to support WIA’s works on promoting life education and organ donation.
